Oven

We use Australia 's no 1 oven Beech Oven . It is well known that a tradesman is only as good as his tools. This is why we have chosen to cook our foods in a beech oven. The combination of the oven, Tasmanian fresh produce and a chef/butcher who is passion about his food gives us the edge to produce quality wood-fire foods to perfection.


During heating of the oven, a large amount of heat can be stored in the concrete walls and roof of the oven; this is referred to as the "thermal mass".


This heat then radiates back into the oven floor, giving greater heat efficiency during operation of the oven and eliminating the requirement for an underfloor burner

Greater thermal mass = A more heat efficient oven

Thermal Efficiency Beech Ovens have the greatest thermal mass of all commercially available stone hearth ovens, making it the most efficient oven available.
